It has been traditionally grown and used in Russia and Mongolia, but as it’s properties have become more researched and well documented, it’s cultivation has spread throughout the world.

Our Rhodiola Rosea cultivation takes place across the border in Kazakhstan where the plants grow in a dry and cold climate with high temperature differences between day and night and high ultraviolet intensity. The frost-free period is short, leaving a small window for harvest.In total 300 000 sq km are explored and annual harvest average 300 tons of dry roots. The extraction of the plants leads to an average 100 tons per year.
